Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field is required.
- Passing score on CLT proficiency examination approved by HHS is required.
- 0-2 years of acute care experience required.
Responsibilities
- Performs moderate and high complexity laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintains quality control procedures and conducts instrument maintenance.
- Reports results timely with proper documentation and data entry.
- Troubleshoots instrument malfunctions and coordinates with service personnel as needed.
- Assists with proficiency testing and data collection for regulatory compliance.
- May perform phlebotomy duties and assists with teaching new staff and students.
