Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medication Technician in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and documentation.
• Experience working with elderly residents in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition.
• Review physician orders and coordinate follow-up care.
• Support caregivers by providing clear direction on resident care needs.
• Assist in coordinating medical appointments and care services.
• Collaborate with Home Health and Hospice providers.
• Help maintain a calm, safe environment while minimizing unnecessary hospital transfers.
• Ensure proper inventory and ordering of clinical supplies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Provide guidance and oversight to caregivers during shifts.
• Assist with shift assignments and coverage needs.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
