The Medication Technician at Oakmont Management Group in Pleasanton provides supervised medication administration and direct personal care to residents, following nursing standards and company values. You will collaborate with caregiving staff to support residents' independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include preparing and distributing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, tracking changes, maintaining records, and promoting a safe environment while encouraging

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience assisting with medication in a RCFE or similar setting.
• Completion of required state training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
