Ivyliving in Hawaii seeks a Medication Technician for NOC shifts. You will supervise and assist in the administration of medications, coordinate with pharmacy and physician, keep records, and promote resident safety and well-being. This role requires teamwork and compassionate care for the elderly within a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB, etc.).
• Vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
