Job summary

Vitality Living is hiring a Certified Medication Technician for the Acclaim at East Beach Community in Norfolk, VA. This full-time night shift (10:30pm–7:00am) role offers the opportunity to positively impact residents by administering medications and supporting daily care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
