Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a Certified Medication Technician for a full-time role at the East Beach community in Norfolk, VA. The position supports residents with medication administration, documentation, and daily care in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

You will maintain accurate records, follow policies, and help ensure safety and quality of care for residents. The shift is 2:30pm-11pm, with competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations
• Meet state health related requirements

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
