Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 9LM Medical Telemetry floor at St. Luke’s Aurora campus in Milwaukee. You will monitor telemetry, manage wounds, Foley catheters, and titrate medications for adults 18 and older in a fast-paced, team-oriented unit.

The role requires one year of clinical nursing experience, an active RN license, BLS, and strong communication, safety, and collaboration skills. Schedule includes nights and every third weekend with holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Proficient in applying the nursing process to plan and implement care.
• Able to recognize changes in patient condition and adjust the plan of care accordingly.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Experienced with electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using the nursing process.
• Plan and implement individualized interventions; involve patient and family.
• Monitor patient condition and adjust care as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the health care team.
• Promote patient safety and adherence to standards of care.
• Demonstrate leadership within the care team and delegate appropriately.
