Job summary
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our Gaffney, SC facility on the 3rd shift (Sun-Thu 11:00 pm–7:00 am). Base pay is $24-$38 per hour with a $0.75/hour shift differential and day-one benefits.
You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, read blueprints, and work with a team to improve safety and efficiency. Requirements include a two-year Mechatronics degree or five years of relevant experience, plus strong
Qualifications
- Two-year degree in Mechatronics preferred or five years relevant experience required.
- PLC troubleshooting.
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Mechanical troubleshooting.
- Able to read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical components.
- Diagnose and fix electrical issues, including control systems and wiring.
- Test and troubleshoot equipment operating characteristics and deviations from specs.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Read blueprints/schematics and collaborate with team to improve reliability and safety.
- Complete paperwork and maintain orderly work area.
