Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the night shift (10pm–6am) to troubleshoot and repair mechanical drive systems across plant equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.

You will lead maintenance tasks, establish preventive routes, transfer knowledge to the shift team, and support plant leadership on special projects, with a strong emphasis on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 8+ years verifiable work experience in the mechanical drive train
• Knowledge of bearing preloads and gear sets
• Knowledge of AC/DC drives
• Safety-focused with teamwork and proactive problem solving
• Willingness to work overtime and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical drive systems including alignment and belt tensioning.
• Establish preventive maintenance routes.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Transfer technical knowledge to shift maintenance technicians.
• Support plant leadership with initiatives and special projects.
• Other duties as assigned
