Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for fixed night shifts at a Mentor, OH facility. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing machinery, electrical circuits, and mechanical equipment to support facility operations and plant uptime.

The role requires 3+ years in multi-craft maintenance, ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency with 3-phase/PLC systems, with physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Trade school certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or journeyman-level experience.
• 3+ years in multi-craft industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot 3-phase/PLC systems.
• Physically capable to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, motors, conveyors, switchboards, relays, and power distribution circuits.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Execute conduit installation, wiring, component replacement, and equipment testing for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to report shift metrics and improve quality and safety workflows.
