ND Defense LLC in West Point, MS seeks a Materials Supervisor on Second Shift for a temporary assignment from Sept 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2026. The role oversees warehouse teams on a 6:30 PM–5:00 AM schedule, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely receiving, storage, kitting, and shipping operations.

Salary is $24.00–$26.00 hourly. Responsibilities include coaching staff, enforcing safety/ITAR controls, coordinating with production and planning, and maintaining ERP records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in warehouse/distribution ops; 1–2 years in supervision.
• WMS/ERP (Infor, SAP, Oracle) knowledge and inventory control.
• Forklift operation and certification or ability to obtain in 90 days.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift upto 50 lbs; physical work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and prioritize daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, inventory transactions, kitting, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Assign work duties and manage task distribution across team leads and warehouse associates based on production schedules and priorities.
• Monitor workflow to meet productivity targets, accuracy standards, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure materials are received, inspected, labeled, stored, and issued per SOPs and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and procurement to align material availability with build schedules and commitments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-floor issues; escalate to Warehouse Operations Manager when needed.
• Conduct shift-start meetings to communicate priorities, safety topics, and performance expectations.
