Job summary

Buc-ee's, Ltd. is seeking a Night Manager to ensure a clean, friendly, and in-stock store experience. You will manage store personnel, maintain product quality, and promote customer service while coordinating with the General Manager.

Responsibilities include managing POS devices, reconciling shift reports, and resolving customer issues with professionalism. This role requires flexibility for day/night shifts and rotating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in GM absence or at discretion
• Operate Point Of Sale and transactional devices
• Reconcile shift reports accurately
• Resolve customer issues in a friendly, professional manner
• Assign and inspect items on the shift duty list
• Communicate with Store General Manager and staff
• Apply federal, state and local laws to retail operations
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance
• Work rotating day/night shifts
• Perform other duties as required

The Night Manager provides a Clean, Friendly, and In-Stock experience for every customer. The applicant must have the ability to manage store personnel, ensure product quality, and promote customer service.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• $24 / hour
• Perform duties and responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence or upon their discretion
• Illustrate competent knowledge of various Point Of Sale and transactional devices
• Reconcile multiple shift reports
• Resolve customer issues in a friendly and professional manner
• Assign and inspect elements listed on shift duty list
• Communicate professionally with the Store General Manager and employees
• Understand and apply federal, state, and local laws as they apply to retail sales and general employment matter
• Assure safety rules and regulations are implemented and followed
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
• Interact professionally with other team members
• Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to work on the store’s busiest days
• Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
• Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

The position requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Prolonged walking or standing for 8-12 continuous hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling (e.g. ice cart with 50 or more 20 lb. bags of ice, and lifting product or material weighing 40 lbs. or more)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
