Job Title: Night Shift Store Supervisor

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the nighttime operation of the store, overseeing clerks, and ensuring shelves are stocked and leveled properly. Manages ordering and receiving warehouse or DSD products, maintaining adequate inventory levels to promote sales opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Handle and merchandise all products according to company policy.
• Display complete knowledge of all products to customers.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Oversee the entire third shift store operation.
• Manage shelf conditions, stock levels, product leveling, and signage for out-of-stock items.
• Schedule all Night Crew Associates.
• Manage Front End and Office operations, including check approvals and nightly resets.
• Assist with merchandise and supply ordering for the Grocery Department.
• Ensure proper merchandising standards and maintain excess product in designated areas.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of Night Crew Associates.
• Handle discipline and performance evaluations of staff.
• Oversee refrigeration and security procedures during third shift, including resets.
• Unload warehouse and DSD merchandise deliveries.
• Evaluate staff performance and ensure productivity standards are met.
• Implement and maintain sanitation and pricing procedures.
• Protect company inventory and assets, controlling shrinkage.
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Degree or equivalent, with 3+ years of related experience. Strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and satisfactory performance reviews.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Exposure to cold environment: occasional 1-3 hours.
• Pivoting: constant 5-8 hours.
• Squatting/Kneeling: constant 5-8 hours.
• Pushing/Pulling: occasional 1-3 hours up to 2400 lbs.
• Lifting: frequent 3-5 hours up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs for 1-3 hours.
