Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Night Shift at the Elwood, KS facility. You will help maintain critical systems and support production in a GMP environment, ensuring safety, quality, and proper documentation.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and compliance with SOPs and QA guidelines. The role requires flexibility for a 12-hour night schedule and the ability to lift 50 lbs+.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Broad knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate critical facility systems including boilers, AHUs, purified water systems, air compressors, and wastewater treatment.
• Provide production support by maintaining and repairing tanks, mixers, pumps, sterilizers, filling equipment, and solids processing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks as instructed by the maintenance management system to ensure equipment longevity and compliance.
• Execute all duties following SOPs, Quality Assurance guidelines, and safety programs including lockout/tagout, confined space, and fall protection.
• Operate forklifts and personnel lifts while assisting in the construction and validation of the cGMP manufacturing facility.
