Job summary

Richardson International Limited is hiring a Maintenance Worker for our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta facility, part of the Dakota Growers brand. The role supports preventive maintenance on mill, packaging, and utility systems and partners with operations to resolve issues with guides from schematics.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on mechanical/electrical maintenance, reads blueprints, and may bring welding or fabrication skills. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate's degree or higher in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or controls and automation.
• Military training with a relevant MOS is acceptable.
• 2+ years hands-on maintenance in mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, or related roles.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics; basic carpentry, plumbing, welding, or fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative and predictive maintenance on process systems including mill, production, packaging, utility, and facility equipment.
• Partner with operations to troubleshoot issues on process systems, using manuals and schematics.
• Assist with maintaining utility operations including boilers, compressors, vacuum pumps, water supply, and HVAC systems.
• Document work orders, PM checklists, permits, and maintain GMPs, safety and food safety standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation.
