Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1- Nights to service production equipment and support a 3‑shift operation in a non‑union facility with about 200 hourly staff. Will participate in QRMP audits and ensure top performing facilities and equipment.

Minimum high school diploma with 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience; basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing knowledge and strong safety mindset required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school/ GED diploma required; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years’ Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and work safely.
• Basic electrical skills and tools for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing systems and PSM helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services production equipment to keep in good working order.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment; ensure safe operating conditions.
• Follow safety policies and food safety standards.
• Assist in QRMP audits and development of procedures and corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
