Job summary

OmniSource in Indiana is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep station and mobile equipment running efficiently for maximum production.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, respond to emergencies, and assist with facility installations while following safety requirements. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, welding and PLCs, with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Proficient in schematics, hydraulics & pneumatics, blueprints, welding and fabrication.
• Able to operate maintenance vehicles and equipment safely.
• Extensive experience with three-phase and single-phase electrical repairs.
• Advanced electrical repair capabilities.
• Arc welding with stick and MIG abilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repairs without supervision.
• Working understanding of programmable logic controllers.
