Job summary

Noveon Magnetics is seeking a Machining Operator to diligently follow procedures and prep materials for semi-automated operations on our production floor in San Marcos, Texas. You’ll participate in setup, feeding, inspection, and maintenance tasks to support efficient manufacturing of magnets.

We value detail-oriented, self-motivated team members with strong communication and analytical skills who can help with a range of duties as the company grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators and gauges preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly across multiple platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication and computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Determine fixtures, attachments, and tools and mount them to machines prior to cutting.
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Bond magnetic components in specific orientations to substrates.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and uniformity.
• Maintain machine production logs.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
