Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintains bed occupancy status and coordinates bed assignments.
• Monitors ER and inpatient flow, expediting discharges when appropriate.
• Works with EVS for bed readiness and room cleanliness.
• Performs duties on floor/ER with professional bedside manner.
• Reports issues to supervisor and nursing staff as needed.
