Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current LVN license in the State of Texas.
• Current BLS Certification.
• IV competency certified.
• ACLS Certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe patient assessments and regular reassessments.
• Assess and manage patient pain and educate patient/family.
• Assist physicians with procedures and provide age-appropriate care.
• Follow the six medication rights and prevent medication errors.
• Document in accordance with current standards and policies.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
