Job summary

OakView Health Center is seeking a licensed vocational nurse for a full-time night shift (10:00 PM–7:00 AM) to support the RN supervisor and oversee CNAs, ensuring high-quality resident care.

The LVN will coordinate physician communication, manage medication orders, and perform IV therapy, tube feeds, and related procedures. Eligible candidates hold a CA LVN license, have at least one year of elderly care experience, and are versed in Title 22 and OBRA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year direct nursing care experience with elderly in a skilled facility.
• Knowledge of Title 22 and OBRA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN supervisor and oversee CNA direct care on shift.
• Contact physicians for changes, issue orders, and coordinate meds and treatments; inform families.
• Perform IV therapy, tube feeds, oxygen, catheterization, suctioning and dressing changes; assist with ADLs.
• Respond promptly to emergencies to maintain quality resident care.
