Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Garfield Heights, OH, is seeking an LPN for the Post Surgical Unit at Marymount Hospital. You will support 2 East/2 South with pre-/post-operative care, including orthopaedic procedures, and collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists.

The role requires a Practical Nursing program credential, Ohio LPN licensure, and BLS. Night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with weekend/holiday rotation; strong patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program.
• Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document and report patient data and observations to the RN or authorized directing health care provider.
• Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
• Participate in the departmental orientation of new employees in a positive manner, share knowledge, experiences, and provide guidance when assigned.
