Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an LPN for night shift assignments at an award-winning hospital partner in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers weekly pay and a dedicated support team to guide your career path.

Responsibilities include bedside care in a Med Surg setting, monitoring vitals, IV therapy, and collaboration with RNs and physicians. LPN/LVN license and BLS are required, with 6–12 months Med Surg experience.

Qualifications

• LPN or LVN license required.
• IV and BW certifications required.
• Current BLS certificate on hire and kept current.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
