Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment lasts 12 weeks with weekly pay and opportunities to work with award-winning hospital partners nationwide.

Responsibilities include bedside care, vitals monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Active LPN/LVN license, IV/BW certifications, and BLS are required, with 6–12 months of Med Surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN or LVN license is required.
• IV certification and BW certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
