Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide basic medical care and wellbeing assessments within a dedicated care team. You will support elderly residents with compassionate, patient-centered nursing, including medication administration and routine treatments.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to physician orders while ensuring safety and comfort for residents in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license to practice in the state.
• CPR certification is required or preferred.
• Interest in gerontological nursing and resident-centered care.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for residents and assign nurse aides accordingly.
• Administer and document medications and treatments per schedules.
• Perform nursing assessments and promptly report status changes to physicians.
• Maintain narcotics accountability and secure medication carts.
• Prepare work assignments with safety and staff capabilities in mind.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, oxygen and other treatments as ordered.
• Support interdisciplinary team communications and residents' comfort needs.
