StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide basic medical care to residents as part of a caring team. You will assess wellbeing, administer medications, and document treatments with empathy and precision.

This role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with physicians and nursing staff, and commitment to high-quality geriatric care. If you hold an active LPN license and CPR certification, you may be a great fit for our family-oriented community.

Qualificações

• Must hold an active LPN license and CPR certification.
• Experience in gerontological nursing preferred.
• Prefer 2 years in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate nursing care for residents and assign nurse aides.
• Uses independent judgment in daily duties.
• Administer and document medications and treatments per schedule.
• Know rationales for effects of medications and treatments.
• Provide treatments per physician orders including wound, catheter, oxygen care, etc.
• Order and receive medications from the pharmacy.
• Maintain narcotics accounting and secure medication areas.
• Respond to resident requests for pain management and document.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders, and monitor health status.
• Prepare work assignments considering safety and abilities.
• Notify nursing management of staff shortages; support team actions.
