Job summary

Finley Asphalt & Concrete seeks an Evening Lowboy – Truck Driver in Manassas, VA. This hourly role loads and secures equipment, operates lowboy and flatbed trailers, and follows DOT rules.

The driver works day or night shifts, performs safety inspections, and coordinates with dispatch to support paving projects. Applicants should have a valid Class A CDL, 2+ years of heavy equipment hauling experience, and solid knowledge of load securement and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• 2+ years operating commercial trucks, preferably lowboy/flatbed hauling.
• Experience loading, unloading and securing heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, oversize/overweight hauling.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and secure equipment for transport.
• Operate trucks with various trailer combinations.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and DVIRs.
• Perform safety checks and report vehicle issues to supervisor.
• Coordinate with dispatch and project teams to meet schedules.
• Drive day or night shifts as required and maintain DOT compliance.
