Ruston Paving Co., Inc. is seeking a capable lowboy driver in Virginia to load, transport, and unload heavy equipment to paving and site projects. A valid Class A CDL and USDOT Medical Certificate are required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience moving heavy equipment.

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL and a USDOT Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years experience transporting heavy construction equipment and/or materials.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily truck equipment inspections per FMCSA guidelines to ensure safety.
• Maintains truck logs and submits maintenance requests as needed.
• Loads, secures, and transports materials and equipment to project sites.
• Operates truck safely to and from project destinations and communicates with dispatch.
• Performs post-trip vehicle inspections and documents any defects.
