Job summary

W-L Construction and Paving Inc is seeking a Truck Driver with CDL to transport asphalt and materials between facilities, job sites, and customers in Virginia. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and collaboration with the site team.

The ideal candidate has a CDL with required endorsements, and is prepared for 8–12 hour shifts, overtime, and potential out-of-town work. A HS diploma is preferred but not required, with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Haul and dump asphalt.
• Load and unload equipment.
• Must hold CDL with required endorsements (Hazardous Materials, Tank).
• Willingness to overtime and adapt to schedule changes.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety standards.
• Maintain PPE and truck readiness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Superintendent/Project Manager to meet daily schedules.
• Operate/drive truck as needed to transport materials.
• Ensure safety and compliance on all tasks.
• Support other roles as needed to complete the job.
