Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Security - Loss Prevention Specialist to safeguard our facilities during the night shift. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and carriers, verify credentials, and document safety incidents.

The role emphasizes enforcing policies to reduce accidents and losses while maintaining a secure environment. The position requires 1–2 years in safety or loss prevention, an associate degree or equivalent experience, and a willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• Associate degree in criminal justice, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 1–2 years of safety, security, and loss prevention experience is required.
• First Aid training or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace by following and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Document incidents with detailed reports and participate in activities to prevent accidents and minimize losses.
• Primary position at the guard post as the first point of contact for all visitors, carriers, and personnel entering the site.
• Verify identification and visit purpose; ensure appropriate credentials and resources for visitors.
