Job summary

Sysco in Denver seeks a career-focused tractor-trailer driver to safely transport product from our warehouse to customer locations, following invoices and company standards. This role requires accurate paperwork, adherence to DOT regulations, and by-the-book safety practices.

You will operate a 3-axle tractor with 45'–48' trailers, load and unload as needed, and communicate clearly with customers and the management team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year tractor-trailer driving exp preferred
• Tractor-trailer driving school accepted in lieu or in addition to HS diploma
• Valid Class A CDL; insurable to operate vehicle

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer location on assigned route and ensures timely delivery
• Completes paperwork per DOT and company guidelines; maintains accurate invoices and bill of ladings
• Adheres to food safety protocols and proper temperatures during delivery
• Communicates with management about route, loading issues, and product concerns
• Operates equipment including tractor-trailer, pallets, load bars, and hand cart and maintains safety standards
