Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year tractor trailer driving preferred.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for reports and communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer on assigned route.
• Unloads product from trailer using hand cart or by hand.
• Handles damaged goods and returns; transports items to warehouse as needed.
• Completes DOT logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and timely.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and facilities.
• Follows prescribed work methods; reports unsafe conditions.
• Operates equipment including hand cart, pallets, and PPE.
• Aims for good customer relationships through courteous service.
• Communicates route and loading issues to management.
• Transports backhauls and line hauls; ensures timely delivery.
• Fulfills schedule; may work overtime or weekends as needed.
