Job summary

FedEx seeks a dispatch specialist to support Linehaul planning in Saint Paul, MN. You will plan transportation needs, coordinate trailers, and dispatch equipment to meet the Linehaul plan and ensure on-time deliveries.

Strong time management and communication, plus knowledge of DOT regulations, are essential. Night shift requirements include Sundays through Thursdays with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Logistics, Business or related area preferred.
• Dispatch experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan transportation needs to maximize trailer capacity and minimize partial trailer loads.
• Direct dispatch of transportation equipment per the Linehaul plan.
• Coordinate and track movement of FedEx trailers, rental equipment, and dollies.
• Enter trip details into the TMS to ensure on-time delivery and pick-up.
• Verify equipment location and load/unload status through yard checks.
