Job summary

TriStar Horizon Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Care Tech for full-time night shifts. You will be part of a nursing team delivering compassionate care, assisting with procedures, and mentoring staff to uphold high standards of patient safety and comfort.

You will oversee patient care activities, coordinate with the nursing team, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with ADLs, supporting mobility and comfort, checking vital signs, collecting specimens, and monitoring telemetry as needed
• Documenting patient care accurately and communicating updates to the nursing team to ensure coordinated care
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment by following infection prevention practices and ensuring supplies are ready
• Responding to patient needs through regular rounding and compassionate communication
• Training new team members and sharing updates on policies and quality improvement initiatives
