Job summary

CCS CCS Facility Services is seeking a Night Lead to oversee cleaning operations during the evening shift. The role requires experience as a Floor Technician and strong leadership to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.

You will supervise floor care, manage schedules, and serve as the main point of contact for the shift. The position emphasizes adherence to the 7-Step Floor Care Process, attendance, and the ability to train and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance services.
• Experience as a Floor Technician.
• Knowledge of the 7-Step Floor Care Process.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time-management and prioritization.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of interiors, floors, windows, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors across offices and common spaces.
• Remove stains and maintain furniture and surfaces.
• Dust and maintain furniture and fixtures.
• Empty and sanitize waste containers.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and restrooms.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions.
• Transport trash and recyclables to disposal areas.
• Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and inspection records.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure doors and access points are secured at end of shift.
• Provide guidance and training to team members.
