Job summary

Simple Custodial Services LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Lead Cleaner to oversee daily commercial cleaning operations at client sites. You will supervise both day and evening teams, ensure quality standards, and serve as the primary on-site contact during shifts.

The role emphasizes hands-on cleaning, staff training, shift transitions, and maintaining a safe, presentable facility. Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial cleaning experience.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cleaning staff while maintaining standards.
• Perform cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing spaces.
• Oversee shift transitions to ensure continuity of operations.
• Provide shift coverage as needed to maintain staffing levels.
• Train, coach, and onboard new employees.
• Assign work and monitor productivity throughout the shift.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; notify management for replenishment.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for staff, supervisors, and clients.
