Lead Janitorial Cleaner with Marsden South

Shift

Monday to Friday, 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm, 35 hours weekly.

Hourly Rate

$15.00

Requirements

• You ++must++ be 18 years old
• You ++must++ be flexible and be able to work with our scheduling needs.
• You ++must++ have work authorization
• You ++must++ have janitorial experience
• You ++must++ be willing to lead and train a team
• A pre-employment drug screen is required for some of our accounts, and a criminal background check is mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Custodial leadership experience is a must
• Willing and comfortable working in a school environment
• Prior experience operating a commercial floor scrubber is required

Job Duties

We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Lead to supervise a dedicated crew of 5 part-time cleaners. In this hands-on role, you will walk between multiple campus buildings to monitor performance, ensure quality control, and operate a walk-behind floor scrubber as part of your regular duties. The ideal candidate is a reliable leader who is fully prepared to fill in for team call-outs when necessary.

• General cleaning and any additional requests as needed
• Oversee a group of custodial employees, train employees, and cover shifts
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Interacts with clients and building employees in a respectful, professional, treating others with empathy and dignity.
