Marsden Services seeks a Lead General Cleaner to manage cleaning duties and supervise a team at a Houston, TX location. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with an hourly rate of $15.00. The position emphasizes leadership, reliability, and adherence to safety standards.

• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Interact with clients and building staff in a respectful, professional manner.

Requirements:

• You ++must++ be 18 years old
• You ++must++ be flexible and be able to work with our scheduling needs.
• You ++must++ have work authorization
• You ++must++ have janitorial experience
• A pre-employment drug screen is required for some of our accounts, and a criminal background check is mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Custodial leadership experience
• Willing and comfortable working in a school environment

Job Duties:

• General cleaning and any additional requests as needed
• Oversee a group of custodial employees, train employees, and cover shifts
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Interacts with clients and building employees in a respectful, professional, treating others with empathy and dignity.
