Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking a Night Lead Custodian to supervise the night cleaning crew, coordinate work orders, and assist with maintenance and winter sidewalk care at Edina Community Center. The role supports district facilities and safety across school buildings.

The position runs 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday, with a 12-month schedule and non-exempt status. Candidates should have at least two years of custodial experience and be able to obtain required Minnesota licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of custodial and general maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain Minnesota Chief Class C Engineer License.
• Ability to obtain a pool license for required facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prioritize and monitor night crew work orders.
• Set up equipment and supplies for evening events.
• Assist in cleaning assigned areas and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with snow and ice removal on sidewalks/entry areas.
• Participate in summer cleaning activities.
