Operate and monitor rock, sand, and gravel plant equipment to batch, crush, and sort materials for construction projects.

Control machinery from the panelboard, ensuring smooth feeding, crushing, and sifting processes.

Observe gauges and machinery to uphold strict quality and safety standards.

Conduct routine plant maintenance and report any major issues to supervisors for quick resolution.

Assist in repairs using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid Driver’s License (Class A or B CDL preferred) and clean driving record.

At least 2 years’ related experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train motivated individuals.

Work Requirements

18 years of age or older.

Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Valid DOT medical card (or willingness to obtain one).

Strict adherence to all safety rules and procedures.

I am willing to travel, work nights or weekends, and handle extended hours as needed.

Ability to work in all weather conditions and on various shifts.

Commitment to always wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills & Knowledge

Experience operating front-end loaders and skid loaders is a plus.

Basic math, reading, and writing skills for tracking materials and time records.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate clearly with the team.

Some familiarity with Excel, Word, electricity, and mechanics is helpful.

Leadership potential—you’ll help direct and train others in your role.

• Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
• Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs. as needed.
• Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
• Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
