Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of beverages.
• Blend ingredients according to formulas to create, develop and improve beverages.
• Test materials for odor, appearance, taste, acidity, carbonation, nitrogen and pH to verify specs.
• Set up, calibrate, adjust and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Prepare and add chemicals or raw materials to process solutions to meet specifications.
• Document test results and write reports describing procedures used.
