Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Lab Technical Services Coordinator to join their team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This full-time position requires working primarily on nights, including every other weekend with some flexibility for evening schedules. The coordinator will work collaboratively with laboratory teams and provide excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent, experience in a laboratory environment, and customer service skills. Additional certifications such as MLT or CLT are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) ASCP, or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) NCA preferred.
• Basic knowledge of customer service and Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer needs.
• Notify providers of critical values and document calls in the electronic health record.
• Utilize laboratory systems for test requests and issue resolutions.
