Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Pre Analytics Processing Technician II for the Main Campus in Cleveland. The role supports nights and call with a schedule from 11:00pm to 7:30am, and involves manual processing of laboratory specimens within the Lab Central Processing-Main Campus Hospital department.

You will accession specimens into the LIS, prepare them for analysis, perform centrifugation, aliquoting, QA tasks, and basic clerical duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in science preferred.
• Experience in a lab setting helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession specimens into the LIS.
• Prepare specimens for analysis.
• Perform manual processing (centrifuge, aliquoting) and routine maintenance.
• Assist with QA activities and log audits.
• Retrieve, sort, track and deliver specimens in the lab.
• Perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones.
