Job summary

Carter BloodCare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the R&T department with lab duties, customer service and operational tasks. The role emphasizes adherence to CBC policies and ongoing competency development.

Schedules are Sundays through Wednesdays (4/10s) 6:30 PM–5:00 AM or Thursdays through Sundays (4/10S) 12:30 AM–11:00 AM. Regular full-time attendance and flexibility for extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• The Laboratory Assistant participates in competency and educational opportunities and all activities in the R&T department(s).
• Performs multiple services associated with assigned departmental duties, laboratory support and customer services.

Responsibilities

• Ensures daily operations in the PQC laboratories meet established guidelines and provide excellent service.
• Adheres to Carter BloodCare (CBC) Core Values, Code of Conduct and SOPs; attends meetings and training as assigned.
