Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Candidates must be eligible for Lab Assistant licensure within six months and obtain POC licensure within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws; arterial draws as needed.
• Process specimens across microbiology, immunology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood bank.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas, trays, centrifuges, and collection areas.
• Assist with instrument maintenance, quality control, and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
• Train new employees and students; follow all SOPs.
