Job summary

ATI Specialty Alloys & Components in Millersburg, Oregon is hiring a Lab Analyst for a night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) on a 12-hour fixed Pitman schedule, 2 days on, 2 off, 3 on. You will prepare and analyze samples by ICP-OES and ICP-MS, dissolve samples, perform wet and gravimetric analyses, and contribute to process improvements.

The role reports to a Sr. Leader and requires a chemistry degree or equivalent lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science with at least 1 year of lab experience.
• Alternative: 2-year degree plus at least 2 years of lab experience.
• Experience operating ICP-OES and ICP-MS preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples using ICP-OES/ICP-MS.
• Perform dissolution, wet and gravimetric analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain instrument preventive maintenance and data entry to LIMS.
