Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida seeks a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery Unit at Morton Plant Hospital. This full-time role covers nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) with every third weekend and on‑call duties.

You will care for a group of patients using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a patient-centered plan of care. A valid RN license, BLS, and NRP are required, with ADN/BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Cares for a group of patients in a hospital setting using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient, family and significant others.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury and prepares room environment accordingly.
