Job summary

BayCare Health System in Lutz, FL is seeking an RN for the Medical/Surgical unit. This role involves delivering nursing care during nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) and using the nursing process to ensure patient safety and outcomes.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, delegate tasks, and support preceptor and charge nurse duties as assigned. Minimum 2 years RN experience with an ADN/diploma; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required
• RN license is required
• ACLS Certification if required by department
• Nurse specialty certification is preferred

• Independently caring for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other team members
• Maintaining professional accountability and development
• Serving as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
