Job summary

Sloopy's Diner — Columbus, OH is hiring a Kitchen Lead for the night shift. This hands-on role runs a station, steers the line from dinner to close, and keeps ticket times tight without compromising quality.

You will cook on grill, flat top, and fryer, manage the night crew, handle prep and setup for the next shift, and uphold food safety standards. Shift runs 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM; full-time hours with a consistent weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience; able to run a station without training.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets during a rush.
• Food handler's card, or willing to obtain one.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitchen from the dinner rush through close.
• Cook on grill, flat top, and fryer.
• Keep ticket times tight without losing quality.
• Direct the night crew through the rush.
• Handle prep, stocking, and setup for the next shift.
• Maintain food safety, temperature, and cleanliness standards.
• Close and break down the kitchen each night.
