Job summary

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a Night Janitor to support our Maintenance/Housekeeping team. The role involves routine cleaning, carpet care, and ensuring common areas are tidy for residents and guests.

Shift options include 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am with a split schedule; candidates should have at least 1 year janitorial experience, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting, and be able to read, write, and speak English. We offer a full benefits package and competitive hourly pay.

• 1 year janitorial experience preferred.
• Carpet cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and pull frequently.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Ability to maintain CPR/First Aid credentials.

Responsibilities

• Walk through each building at shift start to identify tasks.
• Clean common areas: vacuum, dust, bathrooms, trash.
• Carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, leaf blowing, pressure washing as needed.
• Salt and clear sidewalks during ice or snow.
• Respond to resident, family, visitor, and team member needs.

Night Janitor

Have you always wanted a fun and rewarding job? Do you have a passion for working with seniors? Look no further as we currently have an opening for a Night Janitor to join our Maintenance/Housekeeping team!

Schedule is 2pm-10pm, 10p-6am, and 2pm-10pm/10pm-6am split.

What You'll Do:

• Walk through each building at the start of your scheduled shift looking for any outstanding housekeeping tasks


• Common area janitorial cleaning throughout the community such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and taking out the trash


• Special cleaning projects including, but not limited to carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, leaf blowing, pressure washing,


• Ensure sidewalks and roads are salted and cleared during icy or snowy weather


• Respond to the needs of residents, families, visitors, and team members

What We're Looking For:

• 1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred


• Carpet cleaning experience preferred


• Previous experience working in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred


• Ability to organize and re-prioritize to accommodate fluctuating needs of the residents and community


• Must be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests and other team members


• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills


• Enjoy working with seniors


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and pull frequently during shift


• Proficiency in basic computer skills


• Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies


• Ability to maintain CPR/First Aid credentials
